Mrs. Iva Sumption Swallow passed away early Wednesday morning at the home of her son, William Swallow in Beallsville, following a lingering illness. She was 64 years old.
Born in Jerusalem, she was the daughter of John and Mary Dickey Sumption. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Swallow in 1957; and a daughter, Irene Ricer.
Mrs. Swallow was a member of Beallsville Methodist Church.
Along with her son, she is survived by four daughters and 12 grandchildren.
