Dorothy Elizabeth Hooper Divert, 94, of Chillicothe was born September 28, 1922, in Norwalk, Ohio, and went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2017.

She was the only daughter of Harry and Ada Hooper. She is survived by two daughters; Sylvia (John) Kutz, Catherine (Harvey) Oltman; one son, Clair (Tammy) Divert Jr.; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Divert, of sixty years and a granddaughter, Cassie Divert.

The family would like to express our gratitude to the Heartland Nursing Home for their loving care of our mother.

A funeral will be held for Dorothy at 12:00 noon on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Weber-Hurd Funeral HomeHomekmdnkrnggvrrfvrin Chillicothe. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation with the family two hours prior to the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
