Albany - Glen Stanley, 89, of Route 2, Albany, died Wednesday at Veteran's Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

Born in Snowville, he was the son of the late William B and Adelaide Brickles Stanley. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. He attended Snowville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Faye Stanley, with whom he made his home, and Edith Sargent of Chauncey; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Gilkey Stanley; three brothers; two sisters, and a great-grandson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home in Abany. Burial will be in Burlingham Cemetery.
