She was born Sept 15, 1891, in Fleming County, KY, the daughter of Harry and Margaret Saunders. She married Martin Scott Bounds on Aug. 9, 1909, in Paola, KS. Mrs. Bounds had been a Janesville resident for 22 years, having moved here from Pasadena, CA.
She is survived by a daughter, Marthell Weaver of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Michael (Karin) Weaver of Kaukauna, Cindy (Patrick) Olson of Kohler and Mark (Kathy) Weaver of Appleton; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961; a son, James Bounds in 1968; several brothers and sisters.
Private graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Overton Funeral Home, Janesville is assisting the family with arrangements.
