LOAR, Olin H. Age 83, a resident of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, January 19, 2007 at Greene Memorial Hospital. Olin was born in Vale Summitt, MD on January 24, 1923 to the late Stanley & Katherine (Martin) Loar. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Loar and his second wife, Dottie Loar. He is survived by his daughter, Eileen Lear of Richmond, KY; his son, Ronald (Becky) Loar of Columbus; 5 grandchildren, Charles Lear, Jennie (Scott) Johnson, Natalie (Kenneth) Ennis, Emily Holland and Heather (John) Bolitho; 8 great- grandchildren; 8 step-children & 15 step-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during W.W. II, had retired from Mound Laboratory after 23 years and was a member of the Minerva Lodge #98 F & AM. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from the GEBHART-SCHMIDT- PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Pastor Ken Winter officiating. Interment Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM on Tuesday. If desired, contributions may be made in Olin's memory to the Memorial Bible Plan for Gideon's International.
