of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away February 8, 2017. He was born in Kankakee, Illinois, the son of John and Annette Rollins Edgeworth. He married his wife of 66 years, Adele Liva of Bedford, Indiana, in Los Angeles, California in 1945, where he was stationed with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Adele. He is survived by his five children: daughters, Amy Edgeworth Hill of Montgomery, Ohio, (husband George), Anne Edgeworth Klockowski of Clearwater, Florida, (husband Jim), and Lucy Edgeworth McCullough of Franklin, Tennessee (husband Edward); sons, Harry Edgeworth of Bloomington, Indiana, (wife Suzi) and John L. Edgeworth of Bloomington, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was retired as Chairman of the Board and President of Victor Oolitic Stone Company in Bloomington, Indiana. He was a past president of Allied Stone Industries, and honored member of the Indiana Limestone Institute. He was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church of Cincinnati, Ohio, Benevolent Protectors of the Order of Elks, YABC, and the American Legion.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, with Rev. George A. Hill officiating. A private, family cemetery service will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.
