Born July 9, 1918 at Coalinga, Ca to Charles and Hulda Hull. Moved to Huntington Beach in 1922, then to Buena Park in 1928.
Attended Fullerton Union High School and graduated from Fullerton Junior College in 1937. While attending FJC, Milly worked at Knott's Berry Farm and caught the eye of the founder's Walter and Cordelia's only son Russell.

On June 22, 1937, Milly married the love of her life, Russell H. Knott. They had two sons, Kenneth Dale and Stephen Ray. While raising the boys, Milly was actively involved in the PTA, La Habra Assistance League, La Habra Republican Women and for over 50 years has been a member of the St Jude Hospital Guild.

Milly and Russell were long time philanthropists, donating to local day care centers, St. Jude Medical Center, the Buena Park Women's Club, Boy Scouts of America, Goodwill Industries of Orange County, the Salvation Army, and the Boys and Girls Club of Buena Park, and the Oregon Health and Science University Research (OHSU) earmarked for research on heart health and MS. They rarely revealed where the money came from, preferring to give back to the community without unnecessary attention.
Russell and Milly had nearly 65 years of travel and adventure together. In June 2002 her beloved husband preceded her in death, as did her only sister, Gertrude Brummet.
Milly is survived by sons, Kenneth, wife Jeanette, and Stephen.
Milly has been the matriarch for family members and extended family members including 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Niece Cheryl Johnson, husband Robert, great nephew Matthew, and nephew Wayne Collins, wife Alice.
Private burial will be held at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton.
