Thurmal "Jake" Shepherd, 73 of Hueysville, KY, passed away February 7, 2017 at his residence. Born January 27, 1944 in Floyd Co. KY, he was the son of the late Henry & Nora Prater Shepherd. Jake is survived by his wife, Sindy Shepherd. He was a disabled welder for S & H Manufacturing and of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Jake is survived by his daughter: Pamela Lynn (Jason) Isaac of Hueysville, KY; brother & sister: Randell (Judy) Shepherd of Hueysville, KY and Rosie Shepherd (Don) Manns of IN; grandchildren: James Aaron Martin & Jayden Abigail Isaac; sister in laws: Imogene Shepherd & Marie Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his son: Henry Ray Shepherd; brothers & sister: Tramble Shepherd, Herman Shepherd, Rondell Shepherd & Sylvia Shepherd; grandson: John Tyler Nelson. Jake will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
