11, 2017 at 11 AM at Park United Methodist Church in Bloomington. Reverend Angie Lee will officiate. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington is handling

Jeannette was born May 17, 1933 in Fairbury to Clifford and Margaret Geisler Bargmann. She married Calvin W. Lawson August 22, 1953 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2016 in Normal. She was also preceded in death by one brother Leslie Bargmann.
Jeannette worked 38 years for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington. She retired in 1994. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and the Bloomington Emblem Club. She was a former member of Bloomington Woman of the Moose and The Red Hat Club. She loved dancing, traveling, her show horses and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter Debra (Dale) Porter of Normal, four grandchildren Diane (Caleb) Griffith, Lisa Heck, Amber (Mike) Jameson, Brian Porter, five great-grandchildren, Mikey, Colin and Dylan Jameson and Abigail and Abraham Griffith, one brother Harvard Bargmann of Pontiac and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Community Cancer Center.
