Kenneth Eugene Youngblood, Sr., age 72 of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Broad Street Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Jeff Waters officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Georgia.
Mr. Youngblood was born in Turner County on October 4, 1944 to Elbert and Doll Youngblood. He was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville and retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Kenneth was a member of the Romeo Club at McDonald's in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Doll Youngblood and his brother, Alonzo Youngblood.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Lucille Youngblood of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Ken (Carmen) Youngblood of Cochran, Georgia; daughters, Lorie Y. (Robert) Goff of Smithville, Georgia and Kina Y. (Craig) McBride of North Augusta, South Carolina; brother, James W. Bailey of Tifton, Georgia; sister, Mary Y. (Jimmy) Wynn of Sycamore, Georgia. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
