She graduated 1941 class valedictorian at St. Luke's High School in Carnegie. Some of her many various jobs included: Office Manager for Prudential Insurance in Carnegie, Civil Service Agent in Washington, DC at the Pentagon during WWII and paralegal in Carnegie at the Watson Law firm, as well as LPN at West Penn Hospital. Her favorite job was that of full-time grandma! She attended at St. Valentine's parish in Bethel and fervently worked fundraising to build their school. She caringly volunteered at the former local Mayview State Psychiatric Hospital, and was a vivacious member of the local Stroke Survivor/Brain Injury support group. She was passionate about her family and nature, trees, plants, natural living, holistic health, healing and fitness. She enjoyed sewing, tailoring, antique furniture and wood refinishing, music, laughter and good humor, reading, sharing and lifetime learning! She expressed her very deep eagerness to be reunited one day with all her loved ones in the the long awaited home coming for all eternity with God!!! A grave side service will be held next Saturday, October 10, 2015, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, and a memorial service locally on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Arrangements handled by PAUL L.
