Mrs. F.Joe Steen, 65, of Route 3, Box 190, Lindale, died Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. at a Tyler hospital.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Coker-Mathews Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.

Born Aug. 26, 1916 in Greenville, she was the daughter of Harry A. Springsteen and Cynthia Inez Johnson. She was a legal secretary and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tyler.

Surviving are her husband, J.C. "Babe" Steen of Lindale; sister, Marguerite Laningham of Colleyville and Virginia Swanson of Bedford; and aunt, Mrs. Will Branch of Greenville.

Pallbearers will be Martin Laningham, Larry L. Laningham, David L. Laningham, Larry Laningham II, Norman Kennedy and Billy Kennedy.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
