Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 P. M. Friday in the Waters Funeral Home by his pastor, Dr. W. G. Foster of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will follow in Meadow Brook cemetery, Lumberton, N. C. at 4:30 P. M.
Mr. Aydlotte, a native of Lumberton, was born August 27, 1888 a son of Mrs. Annie Von Glahn Aydlotte (who was the sister of the late Mrs. J. H. Wishart of Lumberton) and the late Augustus R. Aydlotte of Charlotte. He had been a resident of Florence for 40 years and at his retirement in 1952, had served 45 years with the A.C.L. Railroad. Mr. Aydlotte resided in Henderson, N. C. 13 years before coming to Florence.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian church; a member of the Order of Railway Conductors, and was a Mason and a member of Landmark Lodge No. 76 of Charleston, a Shriner, and a former member of Omar Temple of Charleston.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Annie Von G. Aydlotte and an aunt, Miss Janie Von Glahn, both of Florence.
