His funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon, February 11, 2017, in the Moncks Corner Pentecostal Holiness Church. Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the CHURCH from 11:30 AM until the hour of service on Saturday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Hollings Cancer Center, 86 Jonathan Lucas St., MSC 95, Charleston, SC 29425.
Mr. Riley was born December 27, 1978, in Charleston, SC, a son of Clyde Luther Riley, Jr., and Chere Jameson Riley Ward. He was a member of the Moncks Corner Pentecostal Holiness Church, and he was a graduate of Stratford High School and attended the University of North Florida. Mr. Riley enjoyed offshore fishing, hunting, camping, and baseball, especially traveling ball with his boys. He was also an avid Gamecock fan, and a former engineer for CSX Railroad.
Surviving are, his mother and step father, Jimmy Ward, of Bonneau; his wife, Mandy Nelson Riley of Summerville; three sons, Kyle Riley, Trevor Riley, and Nelson Riley all of Summerville; two sisters, Renee R. Hodge and her husband, Tommy, of Moncks Corner, and Tammy Ward-Wadford and her husband, Carl, of Bonneau; a brother, Christopher B. Riley and his wife, Rebecca, of Bonneau; and his grandmother, Bette Jameson Brown and her husband, William, of Spartanburg.
