Martha Elizabeth Russell, age 96, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Gratz, died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at The Manor at Susquehanna Village.
Martha Elizabeth Russell was the twin sister of Margaret Alice Klinger Schwalm Martz #123015941
Born in Loyalton, March 22, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Grace Sussanna Steely Klinger (alt Grace Susanna Stiely) Klinger.
She retired as a floor lady for the former Muskin Shoe Co., Millersburg.
Surviving are two daughters, Anna Mae Kessler of Millersburg, and Betty V. Kessler of Erdman; a sister, Eleanor A. Hoffman of Gratz;
six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, with Rev. John C. Schaertel officiating.
Internment in Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church Cemetery, Erdman, alongside many of her family members.
