Hawes, Suzanne "Suzie"
75, of Scottsdale, AZ, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2017. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She considered her family to be her greatest blessing and is survived by her husband of 55 years Paul, her son Steve (Mary), son Vince (Colleen), Laura, wife of late son Matthew, 6 grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Sydney, Timothy, Victoria and Natalie, one great-grandchild, Monique, brothers John Larson (Cheryl), Joe Larson and sister Gloria Miken (Joe). Suzie was born in Portland, OR on September 16, 1941, and met Paul, the love of her life at a fruit stand on 3rd Avenue and Taylor, in 1959. Paul and Suzie moved to Arizona 42 years ago, where they raised their three sons. Suzie was known for her sharp intellect, passion for reading, vast vocabulary and fabulous cooking. She loved Christmas, crossword puzzles and of course murder mysteries and ladybugs. Her family is comforted in knowing she is reunited with her son, Matt. A funeral Mass with proceeding Rosary at 1 pm, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 7655 E. Main St., Scottsdale, AZ. A Niche side service will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Tootle Loodle, Glam-ma, Love you more!!
