The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2000, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Liberty, with the Rev. Dale Osborne and Barbara Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kimesville.
Mr. Turner was a native of Lincoln County and was the son of the late John S. and Liddie E. Auton Turner. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lydia Turner Davis and son, Albert Turner.
Surviving are his sister, Texie Turner Gibson of the home; daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Guzman of California, Mrs. Francine Dry of Virginia and Mrs. Marie Moore of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
