Jesse was born on 18th May 1903 in Cleveland, Ohio t George Richey Barber Allison and Lillian Adelaide Allison (nee Workman).
He grew up in Westmount, Montreal with his brothers and sisters. After his Aunt, uncle and cousin were lost in the sinking of the Titanic, his baby cousin Trevor came to live with him too.
He attended Westmount High and then McGill University where he enjoyed Gym,and classic literature. His favourite expression was "Hw about a show this afternoon.
On 29th September 1928, he married Mildred Allison Blackwell. They had a daughter, Phoebe.
In 1959, Jesse became a widower when his beloved Mildred died. He would later find love again with his second wife, Ena.
Jesse died aged 74 in hospital in San Diego, California.
