Darrell Buss, 74, Milan, KS, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006.
He was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Abilene, KS, the son of Gerald W. and Fay I. Patterson-Buss. He was graduated from Iola High School in 1950.
He served in the U.S. Army 1952-54, and in the Army Reserves until 1962.
He was a member of First Christian Church.
He was married to Sharon Higginbotham in June 1957. She died March 21, 1982.
He is survived by his father of Mayfield, KS; a sister, Patty Kinyon, and husband, Doyle, Mayfield, KS; three nieces, Debe Sisson, Wellington, KS, Kathy Anders and husband Tim, Lafayette, CO, and Sandra Myser and husband Dave, Winfield, KS; and a nephew, Dan Sisson, Walker, LA.
His mother died in 1999.
Burial will be Dec. 29, 2006 at Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.
