Lessie Cumbie, 93, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Archer Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Lutteringer, officiating.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Lessie Lucille Cumbie was born February 12, 1922 in Detroit, Texas to Bud and Clara Williams Carrington. She married Jessie Rudolph McGlothen in September of 1940. He passed away in 1959. She married Rev. Jerry Cumbie in November of 1964 and he passed away in 1977. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jessie Rudolph McGlothen, Jr.

Lessie worked as a beautician and at the Russell Newman Factory in Seymour. She was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she taught the Ruth Sunday School Class for 35 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Vickers of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
