Mrs. Hightower was born August 15, 1907, in the Field Creek community near Llano. She was a former resident of Rogers and Temple. She was married to Trezzie Pressley; he died in 1942. She later married the Rev. P.S. Hightower; he died in 1974. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Lyles, of Carrollton, and Faye McGilvray, of Waco; four sons, Trezzie Pressley Jr., of Commerce, James H. Hightower, of New Orleans, La., P.S. Hightower Jr., of Kilgore, and J. Dwight Hightower, of Larsus, Turkey; two sisters, Mrs. Theo Enochs and Mrs. Allene Koudelka, both of Waco; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
