Clayton L. Bell. Sr., died this
morning at his home, 41 Lewis
Street. He had been in ill health
for some time.
Mr. Bell was in the 77th year of
his age having been born on May 4,
1852, in Conquest. He had been a
resident of Auburn for more than
70 years. He was cashier at the Osborne
Hotel for a number of years,
having retired about two years ago.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
Molly McKeon Bell; two daughters,
Mrs. Guy Wilson and Mrs. James
Flora, both of Syracuse; one son,
Clayton L. Bell, Jr., of Auburn;
three grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 3:30
o'clock Sunday afternoon at the family
home. The Rev. H. H. Barstow,
pastor of the Calvary Presbyterian
Church, will conduct the services.
Interment will be In Soule Cemetery.
