"Sharon Fondren Eads, 52, of Columbus, MS, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Josh Daffron officiating and Bro. Junior Eads assisting in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Beersheba Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Eads was born December 27, 1964, to the late Buck Yates and Mary Louise Carpenter Fondren in Wichita Falls, TX. Mrs. Eads moved to the area in 1972 from San Antonio, TX and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. She was a Paralegal for Goodwin Law Firm for 15 years. Mrs. Eads enjoyed bowling, reading, writing, spending time with family, and watching any Ole Miss sports. She was also an avid animal rescuer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-Nash Grayson Eads; and grandson-Jacob Reid Fosberg.

Mrs. Eads is survived by her husband-Ken Eads, Columbus, MS; daughters-Sarah Beth Eads, Columbus, MS and Miranda Lynn Eads Dale, Columbus, MS; sister-Mona (David) Fondren Varner, Madison, MS; grandchildren-Samuel Connor Fosberg and John Ross Dale.

Pallbearers will be Shane Eads, Andy Williamson, Chris Eads, Jeremy Stacy, Jason Stacy, Josh Eads, and Scott Stacy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. John Whitecar and Columbus Hematology & Oncology Staff, Dr. James Martin, Baptist CCU and 5th Floor Nursing Staff, Mississippi Home Care Staff, Baptist Medical Equipment, and Thomas and Bobbie Sue Pearson.

Memorials may be made to March of Dimes, 1982 Lakeland Drive, Suite G, Jackson, MS 39216; Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital, 2500 N State Street, Jackson, MS 39216; Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society, P.O. Box 85, Columbus, MS 39703; or American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213."
