Katherin Lois Allred
March 27, 1952 - January 22, 2017
Katherin Lois (Kathy) Allred was born March 27, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma
to Elmer and Augusta (Harlow) Boatright.
Kathy graduated from Union High School.
She worked for many years as Quality Control Supervisor for Telex
Communication and Flight Safety and later worked in accounting at Coweta
Trucking.
Katherin lived her life to the fullest.
She was the caretaker in her family and dearly loved living at the lake.
She loved boating and drag racing.
While Gary and Linda raced, Kathy was known to be the queen of the pit
crew for the boats, "Wild Mouse" and "Witchcraft".
Katherin departed this life Sunday morning, January 22, 2017 at her home in
the Rocky Point area of Wagoner, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Augusta Boatright;
three brothers, Carl Napier, Leslie Napier, and Eugene Napier; a sister,
Wanita Gipson; and a sister born at rest.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Edwards and Charles
Miller of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a son, Jason Sutton of Wagoner;
daughter, Jennifer Jay of Coweta, Oklahoma; sister, Mary Gower of Sand
Springs, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Briar Edwards, Wesley Miller and Beth
Johnson; several nieces and nephews; a very good friend, Jim Steele, who
she called "Lawn Boy"; and so many other good friends who were like her
family.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Mallett Funeral Home and
Crematory Chapel in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Steven Napier, Chester Johnson, Steve Rush, Jim Steele,
Charles Miller, and Jeff Parchman.

Suggested edit: Jennifer Jay listed as her daughter is actually my best friend that my mother claimed as a daughter. Beth Johnson is also a friend that she claimed as her grandaughter. However, neither are biologically related. Just some insight for people trying to research genealogy.
