Word was received here today of the death in Schenectady at an early hour this morning of Mrs. Eliza Knight, wife of the late Julius B. Churchill, aged 83 years. Deceased was a former prominent resident of Scriba, where she spent her early life. She was a member of the Methodist church. Mrs. Churchill has been ill for several months. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Leona Churchill, Schenectady; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Askew, Scriba, and Miss Frances Knight; and one brother, Charles Knight of this city. Remains will be brought to this city on Friday.

MRS. J.B. CHURCHILL

Mrs. Eliza Knight Churchill, widow of J.B. Churchill, who died yesterday in her home at 219 Parkwood boulevard, will be buried at Oswego.

The funeral service will be held tonight at 8 o'clock in the home, Rev. John O. Meengs of the Second Reformed church in charge. The funeral service will be held in the Scriba Methodist church, where Mr. and Mrs. Churchill were married more than 60 years ago. Rev. C.H. Miller, formerly pastor is expected will have charge at Oswego.

Mrs. Churchill came to this city about 11 years ago. Her husband died in March. She leaves one daughter, Miss Leona Churchill.
