Larry honorably served in the United States Army and then worked at the Watonga Republic Paper for two years. After the paper he worked in the oilfield for five years. He then worked at US Gypsum for 25 years until he retired. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed watching westerns and food shows on the television.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Leona Bennett.
He is survived by his cousins Calvin Bennett and wife Cindy of Canton, OK, Bill Bennett and wife Susan of Ponca City, OK, Shirley Kelly, and Joel Bennett and wife Susan of Taloga, OK; as well as many extended family and friends.
