was married to Bertha and they
resided at 1618 Tripp Ave
in Chicago Illinois. Axel head
of household, working in the laundry
industry. Daughter Jean was sited in
the 1930 Census. Children Jean
age 18 and son Ronald Lundin age 4 yrs
were sited in the 1940 Census.

Axel's many Carlson related
cousins remained closely bonded
throughout the years.
There are still annual Carlson
Reunion Picnics, now in the Twin
Cities Metro Minnesota area.
Relatives from Chicago still attend
too. More in previous years. Through
the generations contact has been
lost with some relatives and many
have passed away who were so close.
One of Axel's Cousins was
Charles Axel Carlson.

When Axel was younger their family
lived in Wisconsin where his
Mother Hilda's Brothers Oscar and
John Carlson also resided with
their families. Axel's Parents
moved to Chicago Illinois.
His uncles and aunt and their
families moved to Morrison
County Minnesota. Axel's
Parents owned the Star City
Laundry Business in Chicago.
Axel worked many years
as chauffer and laundry truck
driver. Axel and his siblings
helped their parents. Some
Cousins from both John and Oscar
Carlson's families also moved to
Chicago and initially stayed with
Axel's Parents or other relatives.
Some stayed and lived on in
Chicago. Others moved on
or returned to Minnesota.
Axel's Aunt Alma Carlson Anderson's
Family also moved to the
Morrison Co. Minnesota area.
Axel's s Mother and her Siblings
immigrated from the USA from
Sweden. ( Locketorps
Skaraborg Vastra Gotaland Sweden)
Axel's Father also immigrated
to the USA from Sweden.
