John Hermon Kendig, 72, Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the home of his brother in Selma.
He was born March 14, 1945 in Clifton Forge to the late Albert Rudolph Kendig, Sr. and Vineta Frances Craft.
He was also preceded by his wife, Priscilla Maxine Downey in 1995; brother, Albert Rudolph Kendig, Jr. in 1999 and two sisters, Alma Ruth Goodwin and Janie Lee Kendig.
He was a truck driver for Jeff Kendig Trucking.
He is survived by a brother, Jeff (Emily) Kendig and several nieces and nephews.
