She was born to Edward McClosky amd Mattie Woods McCloskey.
Mrs. Pierce was a member of Montalba Christian Church, past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, life member of VFW Auxiliary 3907, DAV Auxiliary, Montalba Red Hat Society, Montalba Quilters and Anderson County Democratic Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tommy Pierce, Jr.; son Charles Edward Adams; brothers Norvel James McCloskey, and Joseph Wood McCloskey.
She is survived by her son Joseph Pierce (Paula); grandsons John Pierce, Nicolas Adams, Jonathan Therond; granddaughter Samantha Laurent and numerous other extended family.
