Tonson Roy Boone, Jr., 81, loving husband of Velma Boone, went home to be with his heavenly father on January 21, 2017.

He is survived by his two sons, Steven (Teresa), Gary (Sarah) and one daughter Terri (Ken), loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and "Super Papaw" to 14 great grandchildren.

He leaves three sisters, Louise Fields and Ruth Welch of West Union and Jane Plummer of Leesburg, one brother, Carl Boone, of Hillsboro, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tonson and Goldie Boone and two sisters, Faye Welch and Helen Garrison.

Roy, better known by his siblings as "Bunk," was a loving, hard working and respected man. He loved his family and enjoyed playing with his grandkids. He loved feeding the wildlife in his backyard and caring for his koi pond.

In 1980, Roy and his devoted wife established B&D Machinists Inc., located in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the early 80's, their two sons joined the business. In 1990, the shop expanded and was moved to Milford. Roy was once quoted saying, "I can be a hard man to work for", but his employees disagreed, loved and respected him greatly. His two sons will continue managing their dad's dream.
