Born as Francis, Frank was the son of Jefferson & Martha Henson Gallagher. He married Charlotte "Lottie" V. Mullikin, the daughter of William & Susanna Stiles Mullikin, on January 1, 1874 in Mason County, Kentucky. The couple were the parents of Eva Gertrude, Ollie B. and Elmer Hera Gallagher. Mr. Gallagher earned his living by working as a farmer.
