Names two sons, Samuel and Joseph Holmes; daughter Anne Holmes; daughter Katherine Holmes. Names "loving brothers and friends," Richard Stillwell, Jonathan Holmes, Obadiah Holmes, John Bonne, and Samuel Spicer as guardians.

John Emans and John Tilton, Sr., declined to swear, being Quakers, and their declarations were finally taken by the Governor to whom he matter had been referred by the Court.

Names his son Jonathan as executor. Mentions his friends James Barker, Sr., Joseph Clarke, Philip Smith, all of Newport. Witnessed by Edward Thurston, and Weston Clarke.

His children settled in Monmouth County, New Jersey where they had many descendants. He signed his name as Samuel Hulms.
