"Frank Schaile, 82, of 28 E. Archwood av., died June 29, 1977, at Akron City Hospital. Mr. Schaile was born in Iowa, and was a resident of Akron for over 70 years. He was a retired foreman from the General Tire International and was a member of the General Tire Foreman's Club. He had 39 years service General Tire International. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Post 209 of the American Legion. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Margaret Gula, Mrs. Alice Langston, Mrs. Evelyn Barnes, all of Akron; sons, Jesse Place, California, George Place, Green Township; sister, Mrs. Anna Federlein, Akron; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Church. Interment in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, N. Canton, O. Wake services Friday evening at the Hummel Funeral Home, where friends may call Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
