Mr. John Marvin "Tom" Baggarly, 86, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, services will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Gordon. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home. Mr. Baggarly was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County. He was retired from BASF where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Baggarly is predeceased by his father and mother, John Clarence and Mame Fowler Baggarly, his wife, Bessie Ferguson Baggarly, a daughter Laurie Ann Slayton, a son, Clarence Baggarly and a brother, J.B. Baggarly. He is survived by daughters; Mary Anderson of FL, Carol Haygood of Twiggs County, Priscilla Kitchens of Macon, a son, Neal Baggarly of Twiggs County, two sisters; Eula Jean (Fred) Howard of Dublin and Shirley Baggarly of Forsyth. Eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren also survive.

Flowers will accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 ST Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
