Esther Lou Johnson Gregory, 80, of Lewisburg, Ky., passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was born in Butler Co. on July 19, 1936, to the late Norwood and Maggie Shain Johnson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and worked at Kane's, Kellwood and Redcap for over 40 years. She enjoyed taking care of her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Clifton Earl Beliles; son Jerry Beliles; 5 sisters Artie Hankins, Ercie Lee, Pearl McCoy, Thelma Taylor and Bessie Wells; 4 brothers Clay, Jesse, Clifford, and James Johnson.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband James E. Gregory of Lewisburg; step-children Alan Gregory and wife Debbie of Lewisburg, Carole Payne and husband Robert of California and Jackie Gregory of Franklin, Tn.; step-grandchildren Brad and Matt Wilkins, Lee Howell and Joe Gregory; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow in the Dan Johnson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24 from 4:30-8 pm and Wednesday 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.

Gregory of Lewisburg; step-children Alan Gregory and wife Debbie of Lewisburg, Carole Payne and husband Robert of California and Jackie Gregory of Franklin, Tn.; step-grandchildren Brad and Matt Wilkins, Lee Howell and Joe Gregory; several nieces and nephews.
