Lyle Diamond of Goshen, Indiana, formerly of Somerset, Kentucky, died at the age of 64.

He retired from Behlen/Universal Industries after 30 years of service. He enjoyed puzzle books, auctions, county and state parks, and old time gospel and county music.

He was survived by his daughter, three grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Diamond and Bonnie (Prows) Diamond; and his brothers, Homer Prows, Junior Prows, and David Diamond.

A memorial service will be held at Woodstock Cemetery on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Woodstock Cemetery.

Morris and Hislope Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Lyle "Wayne" Diamond of Courtyard Nursing Facility, Goshen, formerly of Somerset, KY went home Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 to be with his parents, Clifton and Bonnie (Prows) Diamond, along with his 3 brothers, Homer and Junior Prows, and David Diamond. He was born to Clifton and Bonnie (Prows) Diamond on Oct. 12, 1952 in Nancy, KY. He will be awaiting his daughter, Francis Diamond, Elkhart, 3 grandchildren, Angela Yoder, Terry Diamond both of Elkhart, and Bonnie Rose Shelton, Goshen, 2 brothers, Ed (Vicki) Diamond, Goshen, Leonard Diamond, Nancy, KY, and 4 sisters, Barbara (Perry) Zehr, Vicksburg, MI, Lois (Randy) Mathis, Eubank, KY, Nancy (Cloyd) Petrey, Somerset, KY, and Jannie (Roy) Mullins, Goshen, and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne retired from Behlen/Universial Industries with 30 years of service. His hobbies included puzzle books, going to auctions, going to the county and state parks. He enjoyed listening to old time gospel and country music.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Somerset, KY. His cremains will be interred at Woodstock Cemetery in Somerset at noon. A dinner will be held after the service. There will be a gathering at a later date in Goshen. Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen is in charge of arrangements.
