Doris Rollins Stimmel, 76, of Judsonia, passed away January 16, 2017 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born March 15, 1940 at Judsonia to the late Earl and Mattie Rollins.
She loved children, and they flocked to her. She dearly loved life and all that it entailed. Her friends will also remember her love for casinos.
She married Herb Stimmel April 1, 2001 at Salado, Texas. He preceded her in death February 12, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Glen Rollins; and sister, Joann Allison.
She is survived by two sons, Marty Harris (Olga) of Yardley, PA and Jeff Calaway (Nancy) of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Justin Harris, Tamyra Smith, Jessica Squires, and Jack Calaway; ten great grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until Noon Friday, January 20 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Graveside services will follow immediately at 12:30 p.m. at Gum Springs Cemetery in Searcy.
