Corbin C. Jones, 98 years of age died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.
He was born November 14, 1918 in Henry County, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Haidee (Louden) Jones. Corbin retired from General Electric after 25 years of service and was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Margaret Jones, and son, Larry Jones.
Survivors include his children, Phyllis Jackson, Glenn Jones; grandchildren, Tamara Cairns, Jeff Jackson (Susan), Kevin Jones (Cindy), Mandy Savage (Joe); 8 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
