She graduated from Aumsville High School in 1949. Retired from Montgomery Ward and Weyerhaeuser. Business partner in RV Center; Canopy Centers; Chrysler Marine Dealership; ARCO Station and Prospect Kennels. Attended First Baptist and Bethel Baptist churches in Canby. Survived by brothers, George (Diane) Gjesdal and Harv (Lana) Gjesdal; and stepson, Martin Reeves. Viewing 9 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday, July 18. Evelyn Grace Dicus passed away at the age of 86. She was born in February 1930 in Rogina, Canada to Justin and Martha Gjesdal.
She went to Aumsville High School and married Vern Dicus in Portland, Oregon in February of 1970.
Evelyn worked at several jobs but retired from Montgomery Wards and Weyerhaeuser in Aurora.
She attended Bethel Baptist Church, First Baptist Church and Volunteered at Canby pregnancy Center.
Evelyn is survived by Sons; George (Diane) Gjesdal, Salem, OR, Harv (Lana) Gjesdal, Salem, OR and stepson Martin Reeves, Lockwood, NV.
