DUNN - Mr. Luther Perry Denning, 79, of Dunn died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at IHS of Dunn. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Randay Jetton and the Rev. Danny Powell officiating. Burial will be in Lee-Johnson Cemetery.
A Johnston County native, Mr. Denning was the son of the late Malcom and Mary Cathering Johnson Denning and the stepson of Henry Bryan. He was preceded in death by a son, Luther Stanley Denning, and a brother, Graydon Bryan.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Lee Denning, a brother, Charles D. Denning of Dunn, two sisters, Sally Bryan Johnson of Dunn and Mary Lou Parks of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Skinner Funeral Home, Dunn.
