Early Life: Lael was born August 13, 1931, in Provo, Utah, to Charles Gordon and Jessie LaVon Adams Peay, the oldest of their six children.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: On October 11, 1949, she married the love of her life, Lloyd Clyde Lee. They had five beautiful children: Karen, Richard, Sherie, Gary and Diane. As a teenager, Karen broke her neck in a trampoline accident and Lael dedicated her life to taking care of her. Lael was the most selfless mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She always put her family first. She enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, going for rides, family get-togethers and her time working at the Howard Johnson and La Quinta Inn motels. Lael Jessie Peay Lee passed from this life January 18, 2017. She was 85.

Survived By: Her children: Sherie Tingey, Richard Lee, Gary Lee and Diane (Kelly) Thomas; siblings: Jolene Thomas and Karl (Deon) Peay; nine grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Lloyd; daughter, Karen; her parents; three siblings and her grandson, Jeremiah Johnson.
