He was born September 1, 1922 in Baker, FL and was a life long resident of Okaloosa County.
He retired from Civil Service after 27 years of service, and a Veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII where he was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He pastored Oak Ridge Assembly of God for many years and also built Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. He was a member of the D.A.V and he enjoyed Hunting .
Rev. Williams is survived by his wife of 66 years; Ina Williams, one son Luciano Garza (Sandra), one daughter Jan Batson (Doug), 1 brother Edgar Williams, 1 sister-in-law Shirl Stewart, four grandchildren, Nick Garza, Susan Moreno, Ashton Batson, Autumn Batson, 2 great-grandchildren, Eve Moreno, Aiden Batson.
The family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice for their care and the VA Medical team.
Services will be Friday, January 29 at Brackney Funeral Service, with Pastor John Kelly and Brother Ronald Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 10 AM.
