Mrs. Matilda Heasley Barnett announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Josephine Heasley Barnett, to Roy Templar Hill. No date has been set for the wedding.

A very pretty but quiet home wedding took place this afternoon at 2:30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Heasley, when their granddaughter, Miss Josephine Heasley Barnett, became the bride of Paul LeRoy Bonnett of Oil City. Rev. G. Morgan Davis, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, performed the ceremony in the presence of only the immediate members of the families. The house was attractively decorated with evergreens and bitter sweet berries. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Bonnett will live at 207 E. Second Street, Oil City. Mrs. Bonnett is the daughter of Mrs. Matilda Heasley, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Bonnett of Oil City. He holds a responsible position as draftsman with the Oil Well Supply Co.

Mrs. Josephine Dorothy Taft, 68, of Pleasantville RD 1 (Neilltown), died at her home Friday morning. She was born Jan. 16, 1903 in Franklin.

She was a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church, and former member of the Pleasantville Woman's Club.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Taft, of Pleasantville, RD 1; a son, William Taft of Pleasantville RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Cochran of East Springfield RD 1; two grandchildren, Julia and Laura Cochran; her mother, Mrs. Matilda Barnett of Titusville; and a brother, Walter C. Heasley of Cleveland, OH.
