Funeral rites for Henry W. Freeland, appraiser for the Federal Land Bank, who died Saturday in a local hospital, were conducted Wednesday at 10 a. m. at the Hillside Christian Church. The Rev. C. O. Stuckenbruck, former pastor of the Hillside Church who now holds a pastorate at Topeka, officiated at the service. Interment was in Memorial Lawns Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Lewis Dannar, L. F. Hammond, Henry V. Gott, Jerry Simpson, Claire Williamson and C. F. Galloway. Honorary pallbearers were George Ward, D. S. Stuckey, C. ?. Foreman and Henry Budke. Cochran Mortuary was in charge of the service.


Henry William Freeland was first buried in White Chapel Cemetery in Wichita, KS and then later moved to Larned Cemetery, Pawnee County, KS.
