Death of Orville Ansel Williams,
long Resident.
Verona Mills, Dec. 1—Orville Ansel Williams, son of Ray and Mary Lawton Williams,died from pleuro-pneumonia at his home near New London at 3 o'clock yesterday morning. He was born on the place which had always been his home, July 12, 1824.
He was converted when quite young,
baptized and joined the Seventh Day
Baptist Church. He was married to Margaret Senn Sept.l5,1862,who survives him with three children.
Mrs.H.E.Davis of Verona, Arthur R. and Irving J. Williams of this place. Also six grandchildren, beside a wide circle of other relatives.
A noble man has fallen. He was an ideal companion and father in his home, of a calm and even temperament, kind, generous and sympathetic.
He was a wise counselor, a man of more than ordinary ability, firm and unswerving in principles he believed to be right and had a pleasing personality that won for him a host of
friends by whom he will be greatly
missed.
