Jane, 75, a resident of Lower Ojito, was predeceased by her first husband Joe A. Argüello, Sr.; parents Concepcion and Elvira R. López; brother Gilbert C. López; and nephews: Benito and Eric Ortega.

Jane was survived by her husband Martin Carmona; children: Joe A. Argüello Jr. (Lucille), Ivan Argüello (Allison), Valerie Trujillo (Bill Santiago), Benny Argüello (Lori), Dominic Argüello (Andrea) and Shane Argüello (Allyson) and Lydia Argüello, who was also her caretaker; sister Libby N. Ortega; sister-in-law Esther López; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; Carmona family; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Devotional Service was on 16 Jan 2017 in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory. A Graveside Service was on 17 Jan 2017 in the Upper Chamisal Cemetery. A Reception followed in the Peñasco Emmanuel Presbyterian Fellowship Hall.
