She has one living sister, Mrs. Emma Hatcher. Mrs. James professed faith in Christ and joined the M. E. church, to which she was a true and loyal member. Her good advice will be missed by her children, but strive on and serve the God that mother did, and when you are called to leave the walks of men you will leave this world praising God as she did. Her body was laid to rest at Corinth, Sunday, services by Rev. Gooch of Martin.
