Mrs. Jewel Elizabeth Bevel, age 83, of Thomaston GA, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Providence Health and Rehab.
She was born October 26, 1932, in Millen GA, to the late Lonnie and Elene Royal. She was a textile worker with Thomaston Mills Bleachery division, and member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bevel is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Edward Bevel. Survivors are her daughter, Shelia Bevel of Morehead NC; sons, Keith Bevel and Jeffery Marion Bevel, both of Thomaston; sisters, Patsy Lane of Thomaston, and Joyce Thompson of Millen; grandchildren Sherry Bevel, Ken Bevel, Jessica (Brian) Woodall, Jeremy Raybon, Cheyenne (Beto) Mendoza, Sara Huckaby, Bristol Bevel, great grandchildren Bailey (Colby) Hall, Kaemyn Penton, Kyler Penton, Abby Woodall, Alex Woodall, Kamryn Bevel, Nathanial Mendoza, great great grandchild Kyleigh Hall.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bevel, will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Coggins Funeral Home.
