Susan Bailey Anthony Wilson, 95, Lenexa, peacefully passed away Jan. 11, 2017. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 Blackbob Road, Olathe, Kan. 66062. A visitation will precede the service at 10 a.m. Sue was born July 15, 1921, in Slocomb, Ala., the youngest of six siblings born to Lovick P. and Kathleen Anthony. She grew up in Butler, Ga. She met the love of her life, David Overton Wilson, in Birmingham, Ala., and the two were married in 1945. Together they raised a family of three boys. Sue was predeceased by her husband, David, son Raymond A. Wilson, her parents, two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by two sons David O. Wilson, Jr. (Rea), Olathe, and Gary P. Wilson (Mary Anne), Lenexa, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
