MARTINES, Evelyn Alexander, 79, of Henrico, entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Alexander; and a son, David Alexander Jr.; and was survived by her husband, Rich Martines; daughters, Deborah Fisher (David), Donna Campbell (James) and Dana Reyes (Chuck); seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Shortt, Brenda Durrett and Linda Shaw; a brother, William Shaw; and several nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 16, at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., where services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 17. Interment will follow in Dunns Chapel Cemetery. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
